1. Apple and Milk Whitening Mask: Apple has some of the most skin uplifting compounds that increase skin elasticity and improve color. The miraculous compounds alpha hydroxy acids present in an apple brighten skin tone and renew skin cells. Milk is a natural fairness toner and cleanser. It makes skin glowing and tight.
Apple and milk together as a mask are very effective in improving complexion.
Steps to follow:
- Peel off the apple skin and soak slices in raw, chilled milk for 20 to 30 minutes
- Crush or blend it to smooth paste
- Chill the paste in the freezer for about 15 minutes
- Mix a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
- Apply all over face and neck
- Rinse with cool water after 15 minutes

- Mash a tomato into a fine paste
- Add a teaspoon of baking soda and a teaspoon of honey
- Apply this paste gently all over the face and neck
- Wait until dry
- Rinse off with water

- Add rose water or honey as preferred

- Mix 1 teaspoon of rice powder with enough milk to make a fine smooth paste
- Mash a banana or grate few apple slices in it
- 1 teaspoon of oatmeal can be added to make a scrub

- Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with half teaspoon honey and 2 teaspoons of glycerin
- Add few drops of rose water
- Apply this as a night moisturizer before bed and do not wash
- Wake up to fairer glowing skin
